Arguably one of the most influential musicians/icons/artists/enigmas of all time passes away and the last 2 pages are full of "it's out of stock!!" Just download it who cares DAVID BOWIE IS FUCKING DEAD

Or go into a real record shop and get the standard edition. Album is too good to not listen to today on all days.

I'd be all over this if it was just the original trilogy in a boxset.

I would say it's safe to say this will get a wider release. It's very unlikely they only pressed 5 copies.

Mine came with a lifetime supply of styrofoam peanuts in a cardboard coffin.

It is a nice package. Rather distressed at how little music is actually on it - it could easily be a single LP (or a 2LP with the full Chrono Trigger SNES soundtrack on the second one). 

Wish they had used this style of gatefold for the FF7/FF8 releases as it is very nice.

Well I got a reply:

"Your order should be shipped out today and it will arrive before Christmas. We do not want to give false hope but it may be possible that the item will arrive after Christmas."

Bit odd, considering they say it WILL arrive before Xmas, and then they go on to say that it will probably arrive after. Not fussed either way tbh, as long as it's sent!

That response makes as much sense as the development schedule of the games they release.

How did you cancel your Zavvi subscription? I tried over a month ago but it hasn't been processed yet and they won't give me a date for when it will be?

If you go into the subscription page there should be a contact button there. They replied to me within the hour to confirm it had been cancelled.

Got my order in for Super Hang On from Data-Discs. I actually have the original pressing of the GMO Sega release but can't resist these releases.

I think I might skip Street Fighter 2 though, 4 LPs seems like crazy overkill.

Nope, it just turned up yesterday.

Not really happy with the Zavvi secret soundtrack, not interested in the film or score and was quite frankly way too expensive. The 'numbering' is also on the sticker on the front so if you ever open it, it might as well not even be there.

Cancelled my subscription.

I'm sure that was a bootleg on Discogs. It's not out anywhere in the UK on any major or minor record shops/sites.

edit: I am wrong - Norman Records and Amazon now have it in stock.

No signs of this being out in the UK this week. This release has been handled incredibly poorly all round.

Is it actually coming out this month then?
