Of course WIITB sold more. They took so much time between the two and when SHTS came out MCA didnt do jack to push it, because, as someone who works for universal told me, it didnt have as much "Mainstream Appeal" as WIITB. The label wanted WIITB 2, instead they got SHTS and pretty much gave up on them. SHTS -> Way more intricate. Just listen to the guitars in the verses of bitmarks and bloodstains. Nothing like that on the first CD. Period. The other one was SICK but it was primarily rhythm riffs and strict song structure, they were force fed production while SHTS was co-produced by finch. Fact is, theres no way they would have a problem selling 1000.

Am i the only person who likes the porduced/album version of the song WIITB better?

I agree with a lot of you about SHTS being superior to WIITB musically, because well...it is. Im not saying its a BETTER RECORD per se, just WIITB was very early on, and SHTS really showed where they were going as musicians. This isn't by any means a discredit to WIITB, but SHTS was those guys stepping out of the box a lil bit.

Seriously. There's crazy demand out there, I bet you could press over 1000 and still sell out. Are they releasing anything anytime soon? they got back together like a year ago right? Na it was like 2 or 3 years ago. They reunited and did a tour, i saw them in chicago and Ft.Lauderdale. They even put out a 4 song ep then broke up again, and posted up 2 songs as an ep titled Epilogue. It was along the same likes of SHTS type stuff. If you need help trying to find the songs LMK.

Long story short, my transmission went out the night before and i couldnt get to my local record store (and by local i mean 15 miles away) and ended up missing out. Im looking for Music and the Remixes album. If you can help out id really appreciate it!

You buy the first 250, I'll buy the other 250. Looks more like we might have to kick it up to a 750/750 split huh? The reason i thought it was possible was because finch was also on Drive Thru at the time of release, as was Nothing Gold By NFG (which the repress i thought was HT Exclusive). Finch got bumped over to MCA or Geffen for SHTS when Universal started restructuring labels. Personally, i dont think SHTS would sell either. Id buy it, but im one of the few who LOVED this cd, while everyone else got mad because they wanted a WIITB 2 instead. IMO, Musically its better, just not as catchy and hooky as the first, and thats what infuriated everyone

if they repressed SHTS i would help buy them all just to get it done lol. Why would they have such a problem with WIITB? Nothing gold can stay was drive thru and they got that repressed. I always see WIITB on EBAY one at a time and always for like $150

I kinda want to buy every copy in the store specifically to keep them from re-sellers and get em to people who actually really want the music as opposed to making a buck.
