So I am sitting here trying to write a paper and I decided to put on Pink Floyd's The Wall since I haven't listened to it in a while...before I know it an hour and a half have passed and I am sitting on the floor next to my record player, sweaty and tired from singing and playing air guitar to the whole album....my paper has yet to be started...
What album do you put on where you can't do anything else while you listen to it...
For me apparently it is Pink Floyd's The Wall...
love this post...i am the same way with this album
also ride the lightning....i just air-drum to the entire album and literally nothing else can get done in those 40 minutes

I am on the hunt(and i know everyone else is) for some RSD stuff that I will not have a chance to look for tomorrow.
If anyone can grab a double or is willing to trade or sell their only copy please get in touch with me!
I am mainly looking for:
Jack White-Sixteen Saltines 12" (obviously not the liquid one...although i would buy one at face value)Minus the Bear 7"
Mastodon/Feist 7"Paul McCartney 7"
please PM me or email me at [email protected] if you can help
Thanks!

for anyone in new jersey...
the record store in Howell has a TON of good stuff...he puts all the records out tonight but doesnt let anyone buy(goddamnit)
but if you are looking to get alot of the good stuff without a line hes worth checking out
he had mastodon, flaming lips, karen elson, white stripes, straylight, tbs, snapcase, hause, bronx, refused, black keys and a ton more
i will for sure be going there with a shorter line than going to vintage and getting scraps
i know i know....cool story bro

im stoked for rsd
tons of cool stuff this year

Id have a hard time getting excited for new Green Day after 21st Century Breakdown
This virtually guarantee's 3 crappy to mediocre albums when they could probably just take the 15 best songs overall and make 1 good record. I was hoping they would get over this rock opera bullshit from the last 2 albums and go back and make a punk record. I should have known that would never happen though.
im with you on this, i was expecting a 14 song upbeat album this time around, but it looks like green day has gone full blown george lucas on us...
even with 21cb they put waaay too many tracks on it...if they condensed that down to the best 12 songs it would have been a much better album overall

Here is the press release...
Thoughts?
I am pretty excited about this..
GREEN DAY IN THE STUDIO RECORDING THREE ALBUMS – A TRILOGY ENTITLED ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, AND ¡TRÉ!
ALBUMS TO BE RELEASED FROM
SEPTEMBER 2012 TO JANUARY 2013
LOS ANGELES, CA – April 11, 2012 – Green Day is currently in the studio recording three albums – a trilogy entitled ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! – that will be released by Reprise Records on Tuesday, September 25th 2012; Tuesday, November 13th 2012 and Tuesday, January 15th 2013 respectively. The albums are the follow-up to the Grammy®Award-winning 21st Century Breakdown, and are being produced by the band’s long-time producer Rob Cavallo. ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! are being recorded in their hometown of Oakland, CA.
“We are at the most prolific and creative time in our lives. This is the best music we've ever written, and the songs just keep coming,†said the members of Green Day. “Instead of making one album, we are making a three album trilogy. Every song has the power and energy that represents Green Day on all emotional levels. We just can't help ourselves... We are going epic as fuck!"

tell him its for shipping and handling....handling means bringing it to the post office, filling out paper work, boxing it up....id say you earned that 5 bucks..
