  1. Just got this in. The included download is a rip of the test press. Is this a normal thing for bands to do? Maybe it's just me but when I'm listening to this in my car and whatnot I'd prefer just the normal digital files. If I wanted to hear the record I'd just spin it! Anyway, pumped to have this.
  2. I placed it through Mumford's store. I was just reading through the shipping info and it says they usually try to have preorders delivered on the release date.
  3. Just got a shipping notification. Hopefully they actually shipped it early and didn't just make the label to hold on to until Tuesday.
  4. Would like to pick up these few 7"s without breaking the bank or paying international shipping. PM me some offers or if you could shoot me in the direction of where to pick these up, that would be awesome. Thanks!
  5. Not to sure but I haven't looked. My roommate pointed me to the leak.
  6. Got a hold of the leak. While this is definitely more of the same Mumford, I'm loving it. The energy is all around more upbeat than the last and vocal melodies are really strong. Can't wait to get the record and have a hoot and a half.
  7. What's the story on this? I would love to have both of those and can't figure out why they'd press everything but.
  8. Tyler's my roommate so we combined our wants. Thanks for the heads up. I placed an order with them so hopefully I can get one if it worked for you.
  9. Yea pretty sure everyone is getting their copies for free. I remember seeing something on their facebook about it but didn't pay much attention since I didn't order. Also, like I said before, this was completely out of Deadhorse's hands. Can't say anything for communication issues but the delay was entirely manufacturing stuff.
  10. I agree, definitely not the best sounding record I own. I thought the bass was a little lacking and when Pictures starting playing I did a double take to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I'm still glad to own this though. Love the album.
  11. Still saying Tuesday for me. My tracking is saying it has already arrived in Greensboro where I live yet still no package for today or Monday I guess. Enjoy guys!
  12. Definitely liking the blue more than the yellow I purchased. My roommate got the blue though, as long as it sounds good I only care minimally about the color.
  13. Pretty bummed that this got delayed. I've been wanting this set since I saw them with Manchester Orchestra back in September or November. However, I am just glad to be getting this without paying the crazy ebay amounts before the repress.
  14. I haven't heard a thing. I've been checking the site also see if they posted any updates and nothing. As long as it doesn't get delayed I'll be happy.
  15. It is warped very slightly and I've manually placed the tone arm halfway through the side with the same results. I think it just comes down to the fact that not enough of the surface area of the record on that side is making contact with the platter. Therefore there is not enough friction to make the record spin. If I place my finger around the label and apply a little pressure it works fine so I guess I'll just have to make do with that one record. Thanks anyways guys!
  16. Just did, made it worse. I have other 7"s that play fine and one side of this one does as well. I'm stumped
  17. I double checked the hole and my turntable. I have some wiggle room with the hole as it is (I mean I can feel and see some room) and the metal piece you place the record on spins with the platter. The A side spins fine and the B side is the only side causing the problem, so I think it might come down to something like a weight to help it turn with the slipmat. Like I said there is a VERY slight warp that could be keeping some of the record off of the platter so maybe some kind of simple weight would do the trick.
  18. http://mattcrark.tumblr.com/post/27226672437/for-vc Give this a shot. Tumblr was the quickest way I could think to post. It's kind of dark but if you watch the label you'll see the record begin to slow down and eventually stop.
  19. Just double checked and it's getting all the way down. Pushed down to double check and I'm still having the same problem. Thanks though!
  20. Hey guys, don't know if this is a rookie mistake or a common thing, but I figured I'd ask anyway. I just got a new 7" in the mail and when I went to spin it, the platter would spin but the record would stay stationary once the tone arm connected. I noticed just a slight warp in the record causing some of the record not to make contact with the slip mat, so I figure it's just a combination of not enough friction or weight to spin the record. Are there any easy fixes for this? Don't want to do anything that could potentially harm my records or turntable. Just for the info I'm using an Audio Technica at-lp60. Thanks in advance!
  21. The guitarist Brian hopped in our van for a couple days of tour at the end of June and we asked about this. He said that they were still being delayed at the plant due to some manufacturing problems or something. I didn't inquire to much into the details but I can guarantee that the band is in no way responsible for the delay. Sucks that this turned out to be such an ordeal for them because I know he was really stoked on it.
