Yes, thank you OP. I got both Rancid LPs, Propagandhi, Bad Religion and Rise Against for a shade over $40 including shipping. Really sweet deal! I only missed out on Like Clockwork.

This record is the most interesting album these guys have ever done. How many times can they make the same record? Compared to this, Handwritten sounds uninspired to me. However different, it's fresh and familiar all at once. Good to have new music from these guys again, and I'll for sure make it to their closest tour date. Pitchfork sucks, or I guess Ian Cohen does.

Got a black copy of Jack White's Lazaretto, Minus the Bear's Acoustics II, and my vinyl loop order for Sharon Van Etten on clear vinyl. I need to start spreading my orders out, this shit's killing me.

Spain for me as well. Spain is entering the competition with a largely verteran team but the coach is using that to his advantage by playing strictly through the middle and devoid of wingers. Even without Costa, Spain will find a way. Speaking about the US, I would like to see Johansson given a chance to play up top instead of Altidore. However experienced, he's just not clinical enough in front of goal and in games where the US will have a minimum of chances they need to be converted.

Will check them out, thanks.

Damn, that looks a lot worse than the title made it sound… heal soon man.

Despite what people have said about not liking their debut, I tried it out and thought it was pretty rad. Not to derail this thread or anything but since this is a 'supergroup' of sorts does anybody know of any others?

I was more into having the 'is Joni Mitchell a satanist' conversation/conspiracy thing than anything. Value be damned.

Triple on the Smiths and Morrissey, too. I will be beet red the day someone asks me which is my favorite record of his/theirs. Johnny Marrs's newest record is ace, that's about all I can muster in appreciation of the Smiths.

Converge is another one that I really tried to get into after liking All We Love We Love Behind. I figure that if I can't do Jane Doe then it's a hopeless cause. I will say that I'm a fan of what Bannon's doing with Deathwish though.

There are so many bands that I've tried to like but to no avail: Pearl Jam and throw Nirvana in there too. Maybe you had to be there at their most popular. Watching Twenty helped some, listening to VS was enlightening, but overall just can't do it. They're such a fiercely loved band that I feel like it should be easier to enjoy them as a whole.

I've also come across a record like Punkrockcomicart. A Side was Joni Mitchell and the B Side was the soundtrack to the Exorcist. In hindsight, I should have bought it but I was new to vinyl. Shucks.

First Aid Kit- The Lion's Roar was a pretty rewarding impulse buy. Washed Out- Within and Without... not so much. I enjoyed the embossed cover and liked the suggestive artwork but as far as the music went, well... I resold it a month later. A big one for me was Anberlin's Cities (on cd)- more specifically because of the ender 'Fin'. I liked the title, artwork and said why not. I've heard that most of it is improvised, that track is amazing, worth the price of the album alone.

My first set of doubles will be the new Jack White record, one vault edition for my girlfriend and a copy for us to play worry free. I don't do that variant collecting thing. I do however have a CBS master sound version of Springsteen's "Darkness on the Edge of town", and a regular copy so I guess it depends on how much you love a particular record.

Just used it, but it should have a few more remaining. While I'm at it, if anybody has a code for the new Menzingers record I would be very grateful. I have the CD that was included but my optical drive is giving me fits. ugh.

That's absurd! Do they want to test the band's fan base? Plus, Mastodon throwing autographed records online themselves on EBay... it's one thing after another recently.

The Sword- Warp Riders

It's worth mentioning that this record was $10.98 on Amazon at the time I ordered it.

Bruce Springsteen- American Beauty
Civil Wars- Live at Eddie's Attic
The Civil Wars record sounds so good, Springsteen not so much.

Chelsea is a dire team without Hazard playing, as was evident against Atletico today. I like Liverpool's chances if Mourinho benches his starters to keep them fresh for the return leg at Stamford Bridge. Just 7 points from 3 games, come on Liverpool! Would be amazing to win it for Gerrard.
-
I believe Real hit the post three or four times too. Unlucky. But Diego Costa's goal was a beauty.
-
As a Liverpool fan I would take McManaman to battle it out with Downing. He just needs to fine tune his shooting but I like the way he runs at the defense and works really hard.

Af few things about the Liverpool game: 1) Coutinho is a little terror who with a little time can be a real handful. We've seen that he can provide killer through balls, but what impressed me today was his willingness to get dug in and chippy on defense. He is intelligent, deceptive and there arent enough superlatives for what he's brought to the team since his signing. 2) missed chances. If Perch puts away the open header, things get interesting as Liverpool get nervous when the pressure piles on. Even after the interval when Ben Arfa comes in the tide changes and Liverpool, to there credit, stand strong if not a little lucky. But then comes Coutinho again and after the third goal its all over. Newcastle won't get relegated but they need to sort out the team; they were abysmal. Cabaye was completely marked out by Lucas and Cisse held by the ever dependable Carragher. I do think that Coloccini healthy would have made a world of difference but Sturridge would have gotten him sent off or beat him for pace. Either way, well done Liverpool. Onwards to the Everton derby.
