  2. Yes, thank you OP. I got both Rancid LPs, Propagandhi, Bad Religion and Rise Against for a shade over $40 including shipping. Really sweet deal! I only missed out on Like Clockwork.
  3. This record is the most interesting album these guys have ever done. How many times can they make the same record? Compared to this, Handwritten sounds uninspired to me. However different, it's fresh and familiar all at once. Good to have new music from these guys again, and I'll for sure make it to their closest tour date. Pitchfork sucks, or I guess Ian Cohen does.
  4. Got a black copy of Jack White's Lazaretto, Minus the Bear's Acoustics II, and my vinyl loop order for Sharon Van Etten on clear vinyl. I need to start spreading my orders out, this shit's killing me.
  5. Spain for me as well. Spain is entering the competition with a largely verteran team but the coach is using that to his advantage by playing strictly through the middle and devoid of wingers. Even without Costa, Spain will find a way. Speaking about the US, I would like to see Johansson given a chance to play up top instead of Altidore. However experienced, he's just not clinical enough in front of goal and in games where the US will have a minimum of chances they need to be converted.
  6. Damn, that looks a lot worse than the title made it sound… heal soon man.
  7. Despite what people have said about not liking their debut, I tried it out and thought it was pretty rad. Not to derail this thread or anything but since this is a 'supergroup' of sorts does anybody know of any others?
  8. So many records... Never enough money

  9. I was more into having the 'is Joni Mitchell a satanist' conversation/conspiracy thing than anything. Value be damned.
  10. Triple on the Smiths and Morrissey, too. I will be beet red the day someone asks me which is my favorite record of his/theirs. Johnny Marrs's newest record is ace, that's about all I can muster in appreciation of the Smiths.
  11. Converge is another one that I really tried to get into after liking All We Love We Love Behind. I figure that if I can't do Jane Doe then it's a hopeless cause. I will say that I'm a fan of what Bannon's doing with Deathwish though.
  12. There are so many bands that I've tried to like but to no avail: Pearl Jam and throw Nirvana in there too. Maybe you had to be there at their most popular. Watching Twenty helped some, listening to VS was enlightening, but overall just can't do it. They're such a fiercely loved band that I feel like it should be easier to enjoy them as a whole.
  13. I've also come across a record like Punkrockcomicart. A Side was Joni Mitchell and the B Side was the soundtrack to the Exorcist. In hindsight, I should have bought it but I was new to vinyl. Shucks.
