That's because you're a fucking casual!
;^)
Kallax is looking good... I only have one Expedit, so when the time comes to expand I think I will get two Kallax and flip my Expedit as a super rare OOP collectors' item instead of having two mismatched shelves.
it's true
they look pretty sweet with paint!
-
Hoping for maybe a little Rufio love down the line. Would love 1985 and The Comfort of Home.
-
I can barely tell any difference between the Kallax and Expedits.
-
it is kind of trivial, but if a band can sell someone four of the same album in an era of free music, good for them.
-
I don't love every track on them, but the Rock Against Bush comps would be pretty neat. I really just want that World/ Inferno song from vol 1.
I want Status Pools from Lagwagon on vinyl. Would love also go for a deluxe edition of Blaze with b-sides and acoustics, like the boxset

Finally! I've been waiting on this bad boy for years : )

I sold Alchemy Index to someone on here for like $60 about a year ago. DUMB.
ouch. at least you got 60 bucks for it. My gf got her AI, Beggars and Major Minor stolen. I'm replacing the entire collection for her birthday and that goddamn index is the only one I don't think I'll be able to hunt down.

Thought this was about the early 2000s hardcore Caffiends from Pasadena. I was about to say that the vinyl re-issue craze was getting pretty deep with their reach.
exactly who I thought this was about. I still regular play Fission, Fusion. Would love a 12". Nacho is a hell of a guy and ran an awesome studio out of his garage.

FINALLY GOT THIS TODAY IT'S SO PRETTY
cool, yours has black in it. I must have got one from the bottom or something.

Propagandhi, on the other hand, I cannot say enough good things about. They were just awesome.
hands down, the BEST live performance I have ever seen. I have yet to see anyone play with the amount of enthusiasm Todd has. It was really inspiring.
but yea, back to Masked Intruder. I hope this one sounds like the last one.
-
Sorry dude! I saw them with Propagandhi and they put on a terrible show and were shitheads to the people in the audience, especially to a certain guy who was very clearly only there to see them. Sure, that might be the "punk rock" thing to do, but the Flatliners aren't punk rock. They just played mediocre pop punk and post-hardcore the whole time.
It was also the first show of their tour, so I don't know where all the anger came from. Fuck 'em.
caught that tour in Pomona. They didn't say anything too mean and seemed generally appreciative to be there.
However, I can't begin to quantify how many loogies their singer spit on stage. dude was hawking them left and right, it was disgusting.

lol. got the same email a day after the same record arrived from Hot Topic.
-
now here is a thread i haven't thought about in a long, long time.
-
as do I. It bothers me more than it should that it was not included on the album this way. Oh well.
-
so no SRC yet, then?

Interesting. I feel this way about Identity Crisis, and I know I'll catch a lot of shit for that comment. But to each his own.
I can agree with this, but I still think Identity Crisis was a HUGE album for its time. I can still throw it on and feel pumped, despite its edges.

How "Oh, Common Life" isn't the first track on this record boggles my mind.
-
Holy shit, that was a lot better than I expected.
seriously. i'm not sure which version I enjoy more.
It only makes it kind of bittersweet that these three songs didn't get the 7 inch treatment.
-
not sure if this has been posted, but here's "one more creature dizzy with love." now we just need the other two.

a friend told me that amoeba in hollywood didn't have this bonus cd tonight. did anyone manage to grab one from there?
-
I really like the stickers that came with this. The artwork for this and Gospel are on point. I would order some screen printed work of their album or work or any artwork from the artist in a heartbeat.
I was kind of bummed that the 11x17 poster included the venue strip and title. I liked it how it looked in the thumbnail. But between that and bitching about the missing tracks, I kind of felt like I was complaining too much.

With respect to everyone who says this album is lacking catchy choruses, I just don't hear it. I feel like some of these choruses are the best the band has ever done.
It's really a bummer that it sounds like they're calling it quits. Fireworks were one of the few bands I really anticipated hearing new material from anymore.

if my girlfriend bought me a crosley, I'd play the shit out of it. that's thoughtful of her.
