I have a friend who works at a movie theater. All the employees know me and a few of my other friends, so we just walk in and nod at the ticket ripper. This also allowed me to sit in the back of The Happening, really high, yelling things at the screen. It was like a shitty bloated episode of the Twilight Zone. It could have been alright if it was about as long as an episode of TZ. Walhberg must have seen his paycheck long before seeing the script. Everything in this move was just laughable.

I've actually seen them live before, they're from around here. Seeing the type of people who hardcore dance to that was kind of scary. All I really remember was they had a song about clogging your mother's toilet. Why they were on a Starkweather show, I'll never know.

When I was 7 I won tickets to an promo pre-screening of the 3rd Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Between the ages of like 5 and 8, all I fucking cared about was the teenage mutant ninja turtles. Then the day of the screening we got the worst blizzard the area had seen in 10 years. I was heart broken When I was 10 I was at some rollerskating rink and they drew my name to go in some crazy cash machine thing. It looked like a phone booth and dollar bills blew around in it and you got to keep what you could grab in like 30 seconds. I think I got like 8 bucks, shit was harder than it looked. Two years ago my friend won tickets to Tom Petty. Sure it wasn't me who won them but it resulted in my seeing Tom Petty for the 2nd time that month without ever spending a dime. So I consider that me winning pretty hard.

Pros: No more insomnia! life sucks less for a couple hours if you have it, girls will talk to you...sometimes it makes me less of a film snob hilarious conversations working retail isn't so bad if you work with the right people (blunts on the roof of Hollywood Video probably saved me from burning that motherfucker down) Cons: If you're broke you're fucked (hurray for new job starting monday) Too much shitty weed can make depression REALLY bad "I spent how much at Wendy's?!"

I lived in Lubbock (about a minute from the TT campus) for like 2 months and there wasn't jack shit to do, ever. Then less than a month after I leave my roommate tells me about a bunch of shit I'm missing and now I find out I missed out on this ridiculousness. Of course, I wasn't going to Tech, but that wouldn't have stopped me from drinking and trying to ride a bike.

For awhile I was thinking of getting "To be guided by faith is to be misled" (shai Hulud - Beliefs and Obsessions). But I talked myself out of getting any band related tattoos. Although, I will probably end up with the Jane Doe cover art somewhere on my body

Season has been pretty shitty so far, but tonight's episode was heading in the right direction. Some of the stuff with Cartman was pretty funny. The last line was fucking awesome and made the rest of the episode awesome along with it.

I really wish I could pick this up. FYS is a huge guilty pleasure of mine. Catchy pop punk...with breakdowns and some gang vocals? Fuck yeah!
