Robo-related, a distributor return of our Whatever Nevermind Nirvana tribute LP has surfaced, with copies of the Record Store Day edition of that sold-out title now briefly available in our Online Store. 12"+7" both on translucent blue vinyl with an oversized poster, this second in our full-album Nirvana tribute series features reworked renditions of the entire Nevermindalbum by YOUNG WIDOWS, TORCHE, KYLESA, CAVE IN, BORIS, LA DISPUTE, WHITE REAPER, CIRCA SURVIVE, TOUCHE AMORE, WRONG, PYGMY LUSH, NOTHING and THOU, in that order.

Fairly-Robo-related is the recent import of HENRYSPENNCER's lastest album, Saturn, for which Robotic Empire released the digital version of. Two years in the making, France's Henryspenncer have crafted a dense album with Saturn, torn between cosmos, desert and concrete; both narrative and abstract, gloomy and luminous, the psych/folk/drone mix contained within is simply incredible. An album teaser has been launched on our YouTube channel over yonder.

Recorded at Holy Mountain Studios in London, engineered and mixed by Misha Hering, mastered by James Plotkin and with artwork by Valentin Féron, Saturn is now available as an import LP in our Online Store, and via all major digital outlets:

First off, a big thank you to everyone who sent some rain our way the other week when we desperately needed it!  The day following the Robotic update we had 2 lovely days of steady, soaking rain, a day of clear skies and another full day of rain.  The forest fires in our area are being tamed and we no longer have ash falling from the sky.  Hooray!  Ya'll rule, thanks for your thoughts, and we can't be more grateful to all the firefighters out there doing an intense job of keeping people and their homes safe!  We have much to be thankful for!

Well we hope everyone had a great holiday weekend if you're located in the US of A and now that we're done with the festivities we've got a meaty little update for you this week. Lots of new stock from our buddies over at Hydra Head, (thanks for the rad robot sketch guys!) Godflesh items abound along with Cave In and other various goodies.  Italian label Foad sent us some choice items you'll see below and the new Ancient Sky 12" and Cassette are now available in the online shop.  The cassette is limited to 150 copies and has a full color J-card, black tapes with yellow imprinting.  We were stoked to work with those guys for the tape release of that killer new album Mosaic!

After the April/Mayhem of our Whatever Nevermind tribute to NIRVANA, we were inundated in mailorder for the bulk of the month. Thank you to everyone who ordered the record, had patience as we got it to you, shared a track online, gram'd a photo of the vinyl alongside your favorite food or beverage, and/or otherwise just gave a crap. It's been an ambitious and exciting release, and now that the dust has settled on mailorder and Record Store Day, less than 30 copies remain. One of the thirteen bands who contributed to Whatever Nevermind was Miami's WRONG, who battered us with an offkilter rendition of "Stay Away". This squad of miscreants can't sit still, and are hitting the road again from June through August in an ever-mutating form, backed (in part) by Rick from TORCHE on drums. Their incestuous Lernaean nature means half of WRONG is now the rhythm section of riff-hurricane HOUSE OF LIGHTNING who will be across all tour dates as well, and a blistering new album is on the visible horizon...  Full dates found below, or right here. Just to clarify what I've read and to keep the collection complete, it's just the opaque and the translucent blues for variants, right? No black like last year? Amped to get this in the mail, I never cared much for Nirvana but these comps are always really well done.

No info on the distribution of how-many-copies-per store, I imagine Revolver tried to cover as many outlets as possible with the stock they received. Also...:

Glad the 7" pocket doing ya right, was a bit tricky to work well but should be cool!

We will have some standard copies online, the plan is Sat evening but TBC. Shortly after RSD at some point though, is the idea at least.

Canadian stores do have copies via F.A.B. Distribution but I have been unable to get a list.

Should have a list of U.S. shops relatively soon!

I didn't forget about you! I'll be sending you a separate email because I still plan on honoring the distro trade we discussed. I have some copies set aside for ya.
