Just wondering if anyone is willing to part with their copy of 'Vancouver', cannot find it anywhere . I'm not looking for a cheap deal, I know it's a hard album to come by but I'm willing to pay a fair amount. I need it so my gf can complete her collection,it's going to be my 1 year present to her. If I can find it that is!

I'm trying to finish a complete La Dispute collection that i'm going to give to my girlfriend for her birthday in a few months. I've been scouring the web and i've been able to gather almost every one of the rarest releases of each title, however I'm still specifically missing these two: La Dispute - 'Vancouver' 12" (White vinyl, pink splatter) La Dispute - 'Here, Hear II' 7" (White vinyl, BLUE COVER VERSION ONLY) If anyone who sees this has, and is looking to sell, either of these titles, please let me know.

So I saw this thread right here (http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/94538-petition-to-get-bicycle-music-comp-to-repress-afi-all-hallows/?hl=petition) and was quite delighted! Although this needs a lot more signings, the idea seems to work. I thought about this and I was thinking that there could be some other records for which we could set up such a petition! My first thoughts were about the debut LP by La Dispute named Vancouver. This one reaches prices above 300$ sometimes and I heard a lot of people demanding this but no one ever tried with a petition. What do you think about it? Do you think that labels will answer the requests? I know some guys of the most labels which would be involved (No Sleep and so on) are on here, so your opinion from the side of a label would be interesting too! PS: Contra arguments are totally ok but please don't show up with "I bought this record for 600$! I don't want a repress". EDIT: The petition for repressing Vancouver by La Dispute is now up! I'm thinking about selling this to raise funds to buy the new Light Bearer splits. I'm not 100% about this yet but a good offer could change my mind. Its the White w/ Red Splatter 500 version.
