It's truly one of the best cartridges on the market, has been for many years. I went ahead and ordered a replacement stylus for it, but it seems that most websites are removing their Shure stock quickly since this announcement.
Hey all, I have upgraded one of the turntables in my house and this one has become extraneous. Time to find a good home for it. It's a Technics SL-B5 fully automatic belt drive turntable. It includes a Shure M195 cartridge with stylus. The stylus has definitely been used but it works and sounds great. The 45 adapter is also included. I have recently installed a new belt. I have also cleaned and refurbed the dust cover, which is in excellent condition, stays up when lifted and has no cracks. This is a stacking turntable, meaning it's a changer. so i recently bought a technics B1 off of ebay for 75 shipped. got here and low and behold its got this cartridge on it...from what ive looked up it seems like its pretty nice. anyone care to weigh in/know a better table for it?
