I know it's so cliche but man in this day and age with all these pretentious rockers it's relieving to meet a millionaire musician who still wants to connect with fans at a local level. I just don't see other musicians doing that pretty rad. Oh got some info too, he said the Beatles cover record should be completed by the end of summer... I'm guessing another Black Friday RSD release? He doesn't even know at this point but has indeed gotten Tame Impala to commit to the project, verbally at the least. Also fun factoid the The Stone Roses album cover is the desk edge of Kelsey Brookes a painter from San Diego, Ca he's got quite a cool story from being an engineer to quitting his job to becoming an artist Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
3fingersdown Posted April 2, 2014 Share Posted April 2, 2014 That's awesome. I still have a hand written post card he sent me after TFTSH came out. I don't think there is anything pretentious about Wayne or the rest of the band, they've always come across as extremely grounded to me.
