Jackie Crackrock
Glen Hansard (The Swell Season, The Frames) is releasing a tribute EP to a friend, Jason Molina, titled It Was Triumph We Once Proposed. Molina of course was part of Songs: Ohia, among other projects. The EP is being released on 12″ vinyl, now up for pre-order. http://www.glenhansardmusic.com/songofgoodhope/?page_id=933 cemeterytapes
tonyfranciosa
Why oh why do these artists try to cover Farewell Transmission? My Morning Jacket's version took me weeks to wipe from my brain.
simple_torture
I got a shipping confirmation for this today! Makes sense, since its street date is the 17th...this month has been flying by! Why oh why do these artists try to cover Farewell Transmission? Yeah, you know, I'm sort of tributed-out by this point--there's been so many major and minor releases that by this point, I'm only buying this stuff for the causes it supports. Probably will be played once and then shelved for a while.
