naelynch
Hi, I am just starting a turntable set up and would love some advice. I have the debut carbon turntable and focal 706V Bookshelf speakers. I would like a recommendation on how to connect them together. Do I need a pre amp or what would you recommend? I was looking at the Bellari tube VP 130 or would you suggest something else. Also I am unsure of what cables I need to connect everything together. Thank you for your advice. I know they are rookie questions. I just want to ask the professionals to get the best sound for my buck

allenh
Yes read the beginner's guide first, especially any posts explaining the different types of amplifier then come back if you still have questions, I know I've explained it all in detail more than once. Whoever sold you the turntable and speakers should really have sold you an amplifier as well otherwise you are not going to hear any music. tvham
