battleaxe
Hi all, I recently acquired a stereo cabinet that I thought would be a gut job. However, everything in it works! So now I don't want to take it apart. However, I don't know much about it. I know the obvious... Electrolux, Garrond... but I don't know the age or what it may be worth. One cool thing about it, is that the turntable has both manual and automatic load... and... it plays 33, 45, 78, and ....16! / Anyone have an opinion on it? Age, worth, whether to remove the parts, etc? Thanks! Nancy

allenh
At a guess early to mid 60's probably valve (tube), Garrard turntable. If it works keep it unless you can find an idiot to give you a bundle of cash for it but don't expect high fidelity out of it. It will sound and does look better than a modern day Crosley but isn't as portable.
