louisthecuteone
Hi, my name is Tilde and I'm a new vinyl collector at the age of 17. My grandfather have been a music journalist since his 20s which means he has a large vinyl collection containing a lot of promo vinyl, other vinyl and other forms of music he have gotten for free and music he has brought himself.I was in his archive room, as he calls it, and just picking out some stuff I though looked fun and listened through it to see if I found anything I liked. And when I say a "a large vinyl collection" I really mean it. There is probably over a 50 000 vinyl in there, maybe even more than 100 000. So I was well I'll look trough the 7" vinyl first because these two roof high 1,5 meter broad shelfs isn't "that big" in comparison with the rest (and singles/EPs takes a lot less time to listen through). And I did that. And I got home and due to the fact that I hadn't listen trough all the 7" records I had picked, I didn't want to ask if I could borrow or get some of those I liked yet.And I'm just sitting here browsing after beautiful looking vinyl in different shapes, colors and editions that have music I like on them. And I just get curious about what vinyl are the rarest of them all, so I search for it.And I find this page: http://rateyourmusic.com/list/yerblues/vinyl_fetish__a_list_of_some_of_the_most_valuable_vinyl_records/And go down and see XTC Science Friction/She's So Square. And I'm so shocked because I'm like "wait ... WAIT haven't I touched a vinyl like that one just 2 days ago? It looked exactly like that". I notice the "exist with a picture sleeve" part so I'm having the biggest adrenaline panic and goes onto discogs to see if there is any pictures of the sleeve there and there is and I recognize it immediately. But then noticed that the last one sold was bought for only 75€ and I'm starting to questing if there is two versions or if the seller just didn't know the value of it.And I've looked around and all the pictures claiming to be of the Ultra Rare version looks exactly like mine.So right now I need your help to confirm if this is the Rare version or not.Like if you have any pictures of it or knows any of its characteristics so I can compare it even more. PS. I didn't know what to tag this with so if you can help me with that too that would be very kind. mameeshkamowskwoz
