Even though I am a fan of all his work and bands he has been/is in...I have to say that this is a pretty subjective statement. I will agree though simply due in being that the hardcore genre of music is not well-known for musician proficiency due the music's general simplicity (you can all start arguing here about this but bear in mind this is a generalization)...Knudson has stood out as a very proficient & technical player. I can surely rattle out a list of who I feel are some of the greatest guitar players in hardcore but again, it would be counter-argued by someone else depending on what bands he/she are into.
