Guest Admin
We got in copies of Mike Hale's amazing debut album, "Broken with No Hope". I am super excited to finally have these. Since Andy was out today moving into a new place, we pulled all the orders, but they will not ship until tomorrow. If you haven't ordered this album, I highly recommend it. The album is so good (and I realize I am a bit biased since we are putting out his next album). If I had to compare Mike Hale to anyone, I would compare what he does with Elliott Smith. I will leave it at that and just recommend everyone check it out.

boizee
I really liked his stuff on that split with Wollard...speaking of, anyone know if/when Chris may have a solo record out?
Guest pelican2112
Anyone know the story with the similar/recurring cover art? This and the In The Red Vol. 1 albums have similar artwork the Gunmoll "Board Of Rejection" album. Obviously they're not exact and the colors are different, however, I'm speaking more of the figure in the middle...I guess Mike Hale likes something 'bout it. barracuda
The artist also did the rehasher cover (Roger from LTJ other band) The liner notes from rehasher say his full name. http://www.noidearecords.com/bands/releases/rehasher_offkey.php I looked him up once I like his stuff. THe art I found online was much darker than all three album covers.
Guest Admin
mike told me that the artist is scott sinclair's brother who is best known for doing nearly all of the Hot Water Music art. I guess he is a good friend of Mike's and mike loves having him involved with all of his releases.

barracuda
I don't know if Scott Sinclair and Stenvik Mostron are brothers but from what I gathered on line they both might have gone to the ringling school of design together in Florida. He is currently based in Hotlanta and has a show coming up next month at the beep, beep gallery. The website says he is participating in the Ringling Atlanta reunion beginning August 9th. http://www.beepbeepgallery.com//index.php?option=com_eventcal&task=month&date=1217563200&catid=&catid=&Itemid=30 Here is a link to his not yet working site: http://stenvikmostrom.com/ and art from a previous show: http://www.dresscodesatl.com/blog/?p=
