drunkenthird
and no worries about the scene crowd. they only go to the places that are hip. i doubt the knitting will carve a niche into that empty-crowd

bouncingsoles123
Knitting Factory in Manhattan will trump it still, but I think another Knit Factor couldn't hurt! OH WAIT! Fuck that! Sorta? I don't know. I usually drive to Brooklyn with friends, but Manhattan was easier and the three floors was awesome! Oh and the Bowery Ballrooom SSSSSSSUCKS how can they possibly be taking business from the awesome Knit Factory?!

I should just start shopping at American Apparel and drink Pabst and move to Brooklyn, I do enjoy going there, but I enjoyed the Knit where it was more. So many good shows I've been to there. Catch 22 and the HSFH to about 30 people because RBF was playing the other side of town. 3 FOS/SID 3, ASOB reunion show, Ergs/Bomb/Lemuria, it sucks. It's probably my favorite place to currently see a show.
drunkenthird
yeah the L is a good train but still i would have to take 2 trains to get to a place i only had to take one to get to.
drunkenthird
best tap bar story. i saw French Toast play there. i get up from my seat for a few seconds to get a drink and Ian Mackaye steals it!
Guest genericinsight
Paint It Black record release weekend for "Paradise". Maybe February/March 2005? PIB and The Loved Ones in the Tap Bar. Upstairs in the main space, The Chariot and a bunch of other ridiculous bands. Obviously, PIB take cheap shots at the upstairs show in typical PIB fashion. Yemin makes a bunch of comments about Christian hardcore being stupid. Andy Nelson: Ha, I bet you're just saying that because you're secretly a Christian? Yemin: I'm Jewish, motherfucker!
