skanknsmile
Is there a way to tell a difference between the first and second pressings on the black versions? I assume Var or someone else will know this..

vardcore
Is there a way to tell a difference between the first and second pressings on the black versions? I assume Var or someone else will know this.. It wears black on the outside, because it feels black on the inside. Nope. They look the same. The entire pressing uses the same covers / inserts. We only printed them once... and then slowly used the covers up over several pressings.

No one should care. At all. Too may other variations to worry over. I think that some of the records had an inscription and others did not. I think Gristlejaw figured that out at some point... but gainesvillebandpage.com seems like it is not working any more. He had it all up there, the freak of nature! fluffernutter
Speaking of the inscriptions... Is there a list of all of them listed anywhere? I go to that first when I get a new record. ...and Moonpies... That damned Orange/Brown marble is still eluding me as well. Should have never traded it years back. i didn't think I was going to miss it as much as I do.
drunkenthird
this guy seemed to have done a decent job with the pressing info of every HWM release. http://www.geocities.com/daemore1/wherewebelong.htm
fluffernutter
Thank you for that. Gristlejaw used to have a great site with everything cataloged as well but the site seems to be no more.

I personally despise online listings of record inscriptions. Talk about spoilers!
