alphajerk
Hola Major minutia question here for the vinyl geeks ... I bought the 30th anniversary edition Sex Pistols Never mind the Bollocks but noticed that there is a small seam split on the side spine. It is still sealed. At the time I bought it, it was the last copy they had. Now they have more in stock, none have the seam splits, and I want to exchange it for my split copy Only thing is, the copy I bought a while ago has YELLOW text on the spine. The new copies have WHITE text on the spine. Other than that they appear identical. Does the white text denote a 2nd pressing? More specifically I guess my questiojn is ... what would you do ... keep the "1st press (?)" with seam split or get the "2nd press (?)" with no split? Thanks!!! L ??? skumbucket
either way, it's still a ridiculously awful album so i wouldn't keep it. but i'd guess the spine text denotes a second press.
ryantheterrible
it's the same record, neither will be worth more than the other. so um, if YOU want a collector's item, get rid of it, if YOU just want record, keep the seam split copy.
