altarsofradness
i managed to get my hands on the black, yellow/green, and yellow/white i wanted the clear/green, but that sold out quick, and it goes for absurd prices on ebay which leads me to believe it's more rare than the rest. mattisr1984
supposedly clear/green is the rarest followed by white/green. then white/yellow and yellow/green as equal amounts and lastly black. no one really knows for sure though. id laugh a whole lot if black was actually the rarest. skumbucket
my local shop has a coloured copy, but it's sealed and i don't think dave knows what colour it's on. would this be a good investment? i haven't historically been THAT into boris.... altarsofradness
anything bearing the Hydra Head logo is usually a sound investment. and anything bearing the name Boris is typically ebay gold. but besides all of that, it really is a nice looking record. Guest chassit
i sold a yellow/green copy for 28 bucks on ebay the 2 weeks after it came out
altarsofradness
people on ebay are so clueless. ive seen those Walrus records go for $30+, with the same exact color for sale at Hydra Head for less than half that. same with those recent Oceanic represses. people were paying crazy money for the yellow and green splatters, and they werent even sold out at 29north yet. amazing. loren
i sold a yellow one right when it came out for 61 or 51...i can remember i was shocked...oceanic that is
mattisr1984
i sold a copy on white/green for 40 plus shipping on ebay. i thought the jacket looked awesome but i really just wasnt impressed with it musically. i guess in hindsight i could of held onto it longer and made even more but oh well, not a huge deal. boris is a cool band but the way some people throw their money around for their records is a little mind boggling--but not quite as mind boggling as sunn o))). altarsofradness
i agree. the songs themselves really arent too impressive by Boris standards, and the artwork/layout definitely takes the spotlight here.
xfedaykinx
i read on another thread that each color was equally limited to 500, thus a 2500 total pressing. its not unlike hydrahead to make each color equally limited.
jacobe
Boris was fantastic live at the Emissions Fest here in Youngstown last summer
