I did it once but he is the master. its a great party trick! no shit, his thumbs? that's crazy. I usually get stuck using a knife and end up spraying myself in the face because i'm smooth like that. Then, in a swift motion bring the can down and at the point where the can is below your belt line push as hard as you can with your thumb. The object is to get the air pocket with your thumb when the beer is moving from one end of the can to the other. it's not easy but it can be done. Shit's insane, just as you think he's getting started he's already throwing the empty can to the ground. We were all about the violent key-stab and just spray beer everywhere. i've only seen the key-stab performed, these shotgunators are intriguing. But there's the awesome stab way to use a key, or the prissy "let's gently push in a hole and make sure no beer gets anywhere" way. You gotta go for the stab.
