First will be a 7" for Teenage Cool Kids titled "Speaking In Tongues." It will feature two new songs: one being a track off their up-coming full-length "Foreign Lands" (due February '09) and one track exclusive to this release. If you are into low-fi indie/pop/rock or bands like Built To Spill, Dinosaur Jr, or Superchunk you will love Teenage Cool Kids. The band is currently booking a winter midwest tour. Oceans hail from Chicago and play instrumental post-rock similar to Explosions In The Sky, This Will Destroy You, and Unwed Sailor. I was blown away after first hearing the record and I am proud to be able to release it for the band. I think it is truly an extraordinary and accomplished offering from what has become such a stale, homogeneous genre.
