sgoodcore Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 you can get trackin on media mail too. its no different than priority. i ship everything from my distro media mail, but it comes automatically with a tracking number as well, to show when it was shipped, and when it arrives. vinyljunkie Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 i think its just easier, and safer. everyone wants cheap shipping, but then 5 days after ordering start emailing asking WHERES MY RECORD!!!!!???? media mail can take 10-14 days to arrive, plus the few days it can take to ship, which can mean it might be 3 weeks until the buyer gets their record. most people claim they are ok with that as long as they get cheap shipping, but after a week get really impatient and start bitching. plus media mail has a higher percentage of damage/loss/undelivered, which leads to the question of who is responsible in that situation. so generally, its just easier for everything to go priority. its more expensive, but eliminates a lot of headaches.
