Guest
No one has mentioned De La Soul yet? For shame! 3 Feet High and Rising is totally awesome.
davehoffa
The best hip hop albums ever:1 - RUN DMC "Raising Hell" 2 - Beastie Boys "Paul's Boutique" 3 - ICE-T "Original Gangster" 4 - Boogie Down Productions "By All Means Necessary" 5 - Dr. Octagon "Octagonecologyst" 6 - Public Enemy "Fear Of A Black Planet" 7 - NWA "Straight Outta Compton" 8 - Roots "Things Fall Apart" 9 - Aceyalone "Book Of Human Language" 10 - Jurassic 5 "Quality Control" Yeah, except leave out J5, Roots, Aceyalone, Dr. Octagon, and Ice-T. Replace them with Eric B & Rakim, De La Soul, Wu-Tang, Ultramagnetic MCs and Slick Rick. Oh - and switch that BDP to Criminal Minded! Love all of the artists on your list, but to say that A Book of Human Language is better than 3 Feet High & Rising is just criminal.

cosmonaut
^ That too. Actually, most Wu affiliated records from that time were awesome. ODB's first album, Tical, etc. were all amazing.
