derbsauce
Does anybody own this record on either color of the first pressing? I didn't even know until today that this was on color wax (although I own the 2nd press). How much are they estimated to be worth?
dietrootbeer
blue and green i think each out of 500. last one i saw on ebay went for around $50 or so i believe... im estimating this because im sure if it had gone for any lower id be holding it in my hands as i type this. derbsauce
DF says each are out of 300...but whatever. $50 is not a surprise though. Interested to see who owns a copy of this pressing on here!

adammuzzy
i got one of them black guys and im happy with that. This is truth. seriously. any colour of this record is amazing. one of the best records ever.
scottheisel
The first pressing was green/500 and blue/500. DF's pressing info is (shocker!) inaccurate. Second, continuous pressing is 180-gram black. One of the best records I own in terms of sheer beauty.
lpzgangsta
I sold a blue one for like $50 a couple years ago
LowEndAutomatic
According to Polyvinyl, the sound quality of the colored vinyl for this release is pretty bad. Apparently, the later pressings on black were a much better quality...
Guest nickman
info fixed. scott is the funniest man alive!
derbsauce
Good to hear the info is fixed. Sad to hear that the color sounds like shit. The black sounds incredible, though. Lordy.
vents
i listened to my blue copy last weekend. it didn't sound all that terrible to me. maybe now i have to get a black copy to compare it with.
creepz
Someday i would like to own the color verisons. But for now, like a few others have said, i have the black 180 gram. It sounds amazing and def is on my top
ronniethebear
Well of course the 180 gram version is going to sound better than a regular color pressing.
LowEndAutomatic
I think I have a copy on black that's definitely not 180 gram vinyl.
biggiesized
I think I have a copy on black that's definitely not 180 gram vinyl. And I picked mine up at Amoeba in S.F. used for $3.99. I didn't even know they had them on color.
seafoamgreen
The original pressing was also available on standard weight black vinyl (as were a lot of Polyvinyl releases now available on 180g).

I don't believe you're right. The album was never pressed on vinyl back in the day; it received its first pressing a few years back on green/blue. Guest vito
i'm pretty sure that they used to have the black vinyl edition for sale as well as the 180g version. the regular was only like $5 or $8.
