mrc
So the other day i was driving downtown to go to my doctors office and ran across this fucking cool piece of art on the side of an abandoned building (an old venue). I stopped by this morning on the way to work and snagged a few photos to share. most of the pics suck because my lens kept fogging up since it was so muggy and gross out, but here are the two that came out visible. Pretty cool in my opinion. anyone else have art involving records?

Just Another Tom
That it is pretty cool. I haven't seen it in person, only on the net but a dude called Paul Villinski did some sculptures out of vinyl records as part of an exhibition. You can see more of his stuff here, http://www.paulvillinski.com/artwork/beercan.html
phantommaggot
Where exactly is that in Jacksonville? A couple of my friends go to school at UNF and I've been downtown a couple times with them but have never stumbled upon that fish.
mrc
I think it just went up recently cause i drive down around that area at least once a week and have never seen it until monday. Its right in front of where the old 618 venue was... I think before that it was called the paradome or some shit. Its kind of a weird area cause there is really nothing around there. Its the kind of art you would expect in Riverside.
