monk0nuggets
I'm looking into buying a shipping label printer, and subscribing to mailing services. I'm thinking I might use Endicia. Anyone have any recommendations? I've never tried one of these before.
cactusbot
Buying one of these was the best thing I have ever done. http://global.dymo.com/enUS/Products/LabelWriter_400.html It works incredibly with Paypal MOS. That's what I use.
monk0nuggets
This is what I'm looking at: http://www.endicia.com/Store/Detail/?ID=
cactusbot
How does Encidia differ from Paypal MOS?
monk0nuggets
I'm not sure? How does MOS work? I just charge a flat rate for shipping, but obviously when you print it wants exact weights and where it's going, confirmation possibly. I've never used it so I don't know how either really work. monk0nuggets
Just did some poking around. Doesn't look like MOS allows for International orders, which is a big thumbs down for me.
cactusbot
I assume Encidia can ship International orders then? Can you import orders from Paypal into it?
monk0nuggets
I don't think so, which would be a bummer, but would be easier than writing out everyone's address ever.
ericheartsu
encidia ships international. i use it for a webstore i run. i will say the MAC encidia is wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than the pc version. Also Its a bit cheaper to ship international than paypal is, but its like $14 a month.
monk0nuggets
So, I just called my dad and he has a Zebra LP2824 that he isn't using. I'm wondering if I could use that with Encidia. Do you know if there is a supported printer list?
sgoodcore
I would figure that kind of list would be on their website, no?
monk0nuggets
Scratch that last question. Found one and the Zebra is supported. Score!
