I've always been in bands with dudes that want these huge stacks and it's always overkill, even when we've played at festivals. I use a 60 watt Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+. It's still a bit much but it sounds amazing. I traded a head/cabinet for it because the guy wanted something bigger, and this was...... it was also very common and worth about 1/10 what the Mesa is.
