sgoodcore
I'm only 100% certain I'm getting a Droid within the next week or two. Or the very least it will be my next phone barring some unforeseen changes. With that I had three separate questions: 1) What's the difference between a widget and an app? 2) Anyway to browse widgets and/or apps online? 3) How easy is it to modify Android on a given phone? Thanks!

Thanks! An app is a program. A widget is something you can place on your home screen, like a clock or weather channel temp thing. You can check out a few apps here, http://www.android.com/market/. Depending on what you're modifying, it's pretty easy to completely change the phone. They even have unlocked versions of the Android OS you can install and get all the features out of the phone.
