I actually drove in to the San Fernando Valley to break fast with the family. Good ol' deli food, cold cuts, potato salad and coleslaw. And pickles. I've always wondered that with Jews and Muslims when they fast. yep, if you have to eat to take medicine or because not eating threatens your health you're free to not fast. in fact, i bet you'd be told you are not allowed to fast.
