kurtz
This is easily the best animated movie that Marvel or DC has done recently. It was just as good as the comic! minor spoiler below... *spoiler alert* For those who read Planet Hulk... apparently there was some kind of issue with the rights to use the Silver Surfer so he was replaced with Beta Ray Bill! They couldn't have picked a more bad-ass character as a replacement.
axlrose
I might have to check this out. I loved how it wasn't like "The Hulk learns to govern and lead a people." It's like, "The hulk finds a world where being the Hulk makes him their god." Does it have the lead up with them exiling him from earth? kurtz
It begins with Hulk waking up on a ship hurtling through space with a recorded message from Iron Man and the Illuminati explaining why.

silentgods
i really enjoyed it. definitely one of the more awesome animated graphic novel movies. green lantern first flight is still my favorite though. is planet hulk the comic worth reading? kurtz
Yeah, the comic is worth reading. The movie stayed relatively close to the comic, so if you liked the movie you should enjoy the book.
