I'll actually be hitting up the mushroom tomorrow, but for new vinyl their overpriced and don't have to much, and most of the old vinyl isn't in great shape, but there is a good bit (mostly older stuff) and you might find something hidden here or there. My main find was a 1984 New Orleans Worlds Fair picture disk record for 5 bucks (50 on gemm if I recall right)

You might want to ask drabley for more info as I believe he's from New Orleans

iron rail is good for metal/punk, domino sound record shack in mid city has a good selection of different stuff

Oh, I should say this, I was told by a Mushroom employee that they bought a record I was looking at there for about half the price over at Domino Sound. I definitely need to check out the iron rail myself. Smailtronic, do you know how much it was? I would like to get another copy of it. Thanks.

Ah, well if you happen to look for it next time your in there, and you would be willing to sell it to me for ~$20 if they have it, pick it up and I'll pay you for it. My parents were big into that fair, so I'd be happy to have another copy.

checked out domino sound and mushroom today. mushroom was expensive and pretty lame. domino was small but had some pretty cool stuff at decent prices. looks like a lot of a lot cool stuff goes through there.
