haha it most certainly is! its kind of a play on that quote since my personal political views are somewhat moderate and this is pretty much our only remotely political song. glad someone got that.

as far as the band name, we got it while we were all at a nofx show, they played the decline and fat mike started reading off all the songs they weren't gonna play since they played the decline and one of them was the cause. the song itself fits what we're about so we went with it. plus we're all huge nofx fans. we're actually doing a cover of the decline sometime next month, we just finished learning it all.

oh, and if anyone lives near detroit, knows the decline, and can play trombone get at me
