We are excited to announce the thirteenth release of our Under the Influence series. The series finds bands we love recording songs that have influenced their song writing. The artwork has been put together by the very talented Mitch Clem and Nation of Amanda who have been asked to make their own renditions of the album art that the song being covered originally appeared. For this thirteenth release, Fallen From The Sky cover “This Is A Call” by Foo Fighters and Wonders Years cover “Zip Lock” by Lit. The 7″s will come with a coupon that will allow you to download the tracks as mp3s. The Pre-order will be posted on Tuesday, May 18th, 2010. I am not sure what time the pre-order will go up, but expect a blog post to coincide with the release being posted. We expect to receive the 7"s by the end of May, early June.

Pressing info for this release will be out of edition of 1,000 copies (300 pressed on transparent brown (whiskey coke colored) vinyl, 700 pressed on transparent blue vinyl. I expect the brown vinyl to sell out really quickly.

Volumes 1, 3, 4, 7, and 8 are all out of print (some copies are still circulating at various distros). Volumes 2, 5, and 6 will soon be out of print. Volumes 1-10 will be compiled as a limited edition CD pressing. Mitch Clem is currently working up a few ideas for the cover art for the compilation. Although a number of the 7″s are out of print, you can still find the digital tracks on your favorite digital site (Itunes, Emusic, Amazon, and through our store).

Anyone know any good uk distros to pick this up from? Until that interpunk shipping gets reduced I'd rather try more local to home...
