circlingvultures Posted July 31, 2010 Share Posted July 31, 2010 This record is probably as excited as I can get about a 7". It slays. Side 1 is a ZZ Top cover and side 2 is a Melvins cover. This thing is full of riffs! I was just listening to it this morning and thinking that when it comes to cover songs Mastodon knocks it out of the park. The Emerald cover they do (not on this record) is a favorite of mine as I think the original is one of the best rock songs of all time.
