silentgods
so yes, before the smart ass answers start, i did do research to see if i could find the answer. i brought a skullcandy pipe that i plan on leaving the iPod in most of the time. is this going to end up hurting my ipod? or is it cool? i turn the speakers off when not in use but the speakers are still plugged into the wall. any advice or website pointage would be cool? mcm1610
Does it charge your ipod's battery? That could be bad in the long-run. But if it'll always be plugged in and very rarely, if ever, on the move, then that's almost a non-issue.
exitenglish1208
i have an ipod video (probably like 4 years old now) always plugged into a speaker dock, does no harm to either of them. i dont see why it would hurt the ipod other than maayybee hurting battery life marginally after a while
