jailhouse
http://jailhouserecords2.bandcamp.com/track/nobodys-hero?permalink Those who believe the glory days of rebels in leather wielding angst driven street rock anthems are long gone, have obviously have never witnessed this power trio. Unlike countless sugarcoated rockers you find so accessible, The F Bombers were made in the raw. Hailing from the underground scene of New Jersey they paved their own road not doing things to anyonefs standard but their own. With time tested DIY ethics and more drive than a Hemi, this band is about as real deal as they come. Selling over 600 copies of their label debut 7 vinyl release Sick Of It All (in less than two months)they let the music speak for itself and anyone within earshot is bound to get exactly what they are all about. 2010 has been a rough year for the band. The had a successful 13 month run of tour dates, in which they spanned the U.S three times, sold over 3000 copies of their self-released cd, and supported act's such as 'The Street Dogs', Joan Jett, Cocksparrer (which they even did some rough track demo collaborations) and more, as well as being courted by several labels. In September 2010 they lost everything in a devastating fire, which included all of their equipment, clothes, and transportation among other things. However, the band bounced back in less than three months thanks to the tremendous support and fundraisers of their friends and comrades, and were able to release their 7" in time, and make to Fest 9 in FL, finish their full length (to be released in March) and start planning yet another year of non-stop touring. The band was created in 2007 by Kim Hankins who had been in several bands in FL and NJ, as well as roading for Warped tour for most of her early 20's. She later met up with Clay Aloy from the popular "Lower Class Brats" (who quickly realized it's potential and quit the "Brats" mid tour, to move to NJ and start work on their self released cd) and Kevin Poznanski, which completed the full present day lineup. Not quite sure where to pin themselves, and not too fond of "labels" in the first place, they simply refer to their brand of music as "Street Rock". And sure enough, the band has transcended musical barriers, to find fans both old and young, from punks to college kids, to Joan Jett, and Bouncing Souls fans, to Springsteen fans. They will also be appearing on the upcoming "Built On Respect" charity compilation with 'Street Dogs', AF and others this summer. They are already entering the studio on New Years day to work on their followup full length. Also out late this summer.

jailhouse
will definitely be buying this. totally lucked out as the cd plastic had melted one one side. haha. but i got it out. whoo hoo!!! Haha!, yeah that was from the fire. We didn't have time to get new ones since the fire was like 2 weeks before! Weird, the only thing to survive the fire was the 7's. guitars melted, amps melted, everything, but miraculously like 100 7's were fine. Like they had angels around em! Can't kill rock n roll!
