The delay of the Eagles Vikings game until Tues because of weather has not amused Pennsylvania governor Rendell. He blasted the delays as being too cautious. President Obama praised Michael Vick and the Eagles, applauding the team's decision to give him a second chance which many convicts don't get upon release. Second delay of Eagles Vikings game makes Rendell upset

There's a lot of anger coming from Governor Ed Rendell. This is because the Eagles/Vikings game was delayed a second time. There was a delay from being on Sunday Night Football for NBC to Tuesday because there was poor weather. This is what the WA Post reports. Rendell said “we’ve become a nation of wussies” while also suggesting the delay was “a joke.” He went on to say that “the Chinese kick our butts at everything” and that the game wouldn't have been delayed in China.

Obama hails Vick return and Eagles coach

During the Obama family escape in Hawaii, the president called Jeffrey Lurie, owner of the Philadelphia Eagles, as outlined by Columbia Broadcasting System. The call was to talk to Lurie about plans to install solar panels and make Lincoln Financial the first NFL stadium to use sustainable energy. The president then told Lurie how amazing it was that he was willing to hire Michael Vick. Giving a felon a second chance is an amazing thing. Vick was running a dog fighting ring which got him convicted. The president said that “it's never a level playing field” upon release and that Lurie was doing an incredible thing by giving Vick a chance. Michael Vick is second for League MVP behind Tom Brady this year.

Rendell within the Bounty Bowl formerly

In Philadelphia, Governor Rendell was actually within the second game of the “Bounty Bowl” series that taken place in 1989. During the game, the Dallas Cowboys were pelted with snowballs, among other things, by fans. The broadcast then got turned on by the fans. They turned on the Eagles as well. Rendell threw a snowball intending to hit the field and hit a Cowboys player in the back during the game. This meant he lost a $20 bet to hit the field. Beer was not allowed to be sold at Eagles games. That was for the rest of the season.

Really Obama? This is hardly the same thing as a reformed ex convict who is looking for a normal job once out of prison.

All this does is send a message that if your a superstar or famous you can do whatever the hell you want and your life goes back to normal, even the president gives you a thumbs up.

What a load of shit.
