If your total is under $16, then shipping will be $3 for 7"s and $4 for LPs Dead Men's Theory was a band consisting of the lead guitarist (Andrew Logan, also drummer of Hondo) and bassist (Tom Rankine) of Bird of Ill Omen and the singer of the experimental noisecore band Hondo. DMT considered itself a BOIO side-project. However, their intent was to play music more raw and aggressive than BOIO, and to capture the chaotic-noise aspect of Hondo. The band's ethical purpose was "to warn people about the scariest thing, love". The band was short lived but managed to sell out all of the printed 7"s of their debut To Never Love Again. The band never had an official bass player, but initially Peter Bartsocas did play the bass at shows. At the time of the band, Peter Bartsocas had already left As Friends Rust, and Thomas Rankine was to join a few years ahead. The test press is the Apers - AOTU 7" /3 the shotdowns - In 1996, a 7" EP appeared on Lookout Records by a band called The Shotdowns. Ben Weasel claimed that this was a group from the backwoods of Maine that he had discovered. In fact, the group was actually Ben Weasel and Jughead, with Sun-Times rock critic Jim DeRogotis playing drums and mystery bass player. ***just incase you didnt know... the CRO(W)S = Chris Wollard(Hot Water Music) and Bill Clower(radon),living together at the time, wanted to start a band. After an unsuccessful attempt to turn Rumbleseat into a rock-n-roll band, they formed The SHERYL CRO(W)MAGS in early 2000. Along the way they started a label, released 1 single and toured with Unitas up the East coast. Hailing from Gainesville, Florida (like its members’ former outfits), GREY GOOSE has shared the stage with bands spanning the underground spectrum, from Against Me! and Gunmoll to Holopaw and Maritime, and has recorded several times with Rob McGregor at Goldentone Studio and James Paul Wisner at Wisner Productions. GREY GOOSE’s most recent recording, a full-length album entitled ‘Til The Medicine Takes is slated for release in winter 2004 on Sounds of Subterrania.
