mrewest Posted September 29, 2012 Share Posted September 29, 2012 I think this album sounds like a weird mixtape. I love Panic Station and Liquid State. Supremacy sounds waaay better live than on the album. Sounds over-produced. Animals sounds better live too. The studio version of Follow Me is complete shit. Sounds like a shitty dance club remix of a good song. Once you get passed the trash opening of Survival and the cringe worthy lyrics, it's great. The album is such a mess but I really don't know what to make of it yet even after 5 or so listens. I do think most of these songs will translate very well live though.
