midnightcity
You might not have realized from our recent flood of Green Day-related news items, but the punk-rock trio has a new record dropping in two weeks. And as with any major record release, when there's smoke, there's also softball interview questions from large-media outlets. Speaking to Kerrang! magazine, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong admitted that New Jersey-based rockers Bon Jovi are the "worst band" he's toured with. The best? Swedish-rockers The Hives. Sadly, we'll never know why Green Day and Bon Jovi didn't mix, since the interviewer never bothered following-up on the question. Who says journalism is dead? Vinyl Collective reached out to Jon Bon Jovi for a comment, he told us that "Billy gives love a bad name," then proceeded to do a forty-five minute guitar solo. Green Day's !Uno! drops on September 24th. You can order it from our store. Source: NME via Kerrang!
