If you follow the directions step by step you get nice above average root beer. Tricky thing is to find the right time to refrigerate while carbonating. I thought I had accidentally overcarbonated them by leaving them out too long but slightly undercarboated them. I plan to add some vanilla extract and nutmeg to my next batch.
