californiaflow Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 Hey guys, I don't know too much about what speaker brands are good, etc. I was at a thrift store and found two sets of speakers. I bought one, might go back to get the others soon if they are of good quality. I bought a set of JBL bookshelf speakers for $30. They are heavy as heck and sound amazing. They replaced some no-name speakers I had before. They also have a set of Technics SB-A35 speaker towers. I believe they are three way with 12" woofers. They looked to be in good shape, and were tested and working. All I have read is that they are a bass heavy speaker. Anyone have experience with these or similar? They say Made in America on the back and are very heavy for a small speaker, and that's why I bought them. Sound pretty sweet, as well.
