Gazebo Steve
I did research and found the DeOxit D5 spray works. Guitar Center is the only store that seemed to carry it, it was only like 10 bucks for a decent size can too. The internet says Radio Shack has the D5 and gold end spray as well by Caig but the ones I visited did not have it in stock but will try to sell you electronic cleaner (radio shack brand) DON'T BUY IT! Use the real stuff.
ajxd
That's for cleaning switches and pots. Don't spray that all over your unit.
Gazebo Steve
LOL I apologize, don't use it on the circuit board outside etc. I guess I just thought your pots were dirty. Clearly. Use a can of air and some elbow grease. I believe there's a thread for faceplate cleaning and the like.
danementzer
I went through my entire receiver with a fine-toothed comb (figure of speech). I used DeOxit Red for all pots and switches, then went back through with gold. Not only did it make the receiver sound great, it actually took it from non-working to working. As far as simply cleaning out dustbunnies, I typically use compressed air.

danementzer
^^^That's exactly what I used my first time. It's an easy/fun project that pays dividends.
