Shinji
I need some help troubleshooting the cleaning of records. I've got the RCA kit that comes with the brush, liquid, and the brush cleaner. I also have a needle cleaning system. Every time I put on a record, I clean the side I'm listening to and I clean the needle as well, letting both the needle and the record dry for a few minutes, but lately, I've been noticing that at the beginning of playback, the record sounds flawless, yet towards the end, it becomes muffled and I see a visible dirtying on the needle and it always seems to be a white fuzz or something. This happens on brand new records as well. This is where VC comes in, do you think it's the brush I'm using on the records? I make sure to get all of the debris off with that little red brush and the cleaning kit is basically brand new. I've been using this cleaning system for years and it's never done this. Any tips or pointers to help me out? Anything is appreciated, thanks. mcguirk
Might just have to shell out for a Nitty Gritty. Every non-vacuuming cleaning solution is just snake oil IMO.
