thetruthaboutheaven21
I just got it and have it all set up already. What should u set the anti skate/counterweight to?
bmd1191
Hey I just set up mine as well. If you read the circular paper that was attached to the cover of the slipmat it tells you on there. I believe my cartridge was the AT95E or something like that, but it is the one that came with it so yours should be the same. Anyway both the tracking force and anti-skate for that should be set to 2.
kannibal
As a general rule, the anti-skate and tracking force should be the same. But you can really think of that rule as more of a starting point or safe point and experiment a little each way to see if things get better. Also each turntable or arm manufacture might have their own instructions.
thetruthaboutheaven21
So it turns out the stylus on this was cracked and the needle was messed up that's why it sounded like shit. Should I send the cartridge back to get a replacement? Or get a better cartridge? and which ones are compatible with a atlp120?
