Size is important cause I'd like it to sit on my desk at work to throw 7"s on. I'd also like to be able to put on my own cartridge. Anyone know of something like this? allenh Posted February 14, 2014 Share Posted February 14, 2014 Difficult There were some smaller Japanese ones in the 80's and 90's that took T4P mount carts but whether any of them were any good I wouldn't like to say. The ones I recall were pretty much all front loading drawer types with a tangential tonearm. I had a Sony one a few years back that was reasonable as I recall but the lack of T4P carts will be an issue, I think Grado and Audio Technica still do them though.
