allenh
Not sure what your hifi knowledge is like but this is designed to be used with other equipment to make a complete amplifier. It needs a separate phono stage (sometimes called a phono pre or wrongly just preamp in the US) if you want to run a turntable through it and most importantly it needs to be connected to a power amp to get any sound out of it. fernando87
I thought it was a phono pre amp
xxmartinxx
Nope, as noted, this is a preamp, not just a phono preamp. In fact, it doesn't even have a built in phono stage.

allenh
Touche my good man. It's one of my pet hates, almost as bad as the terrible plural for gramophone leaf that gets used so much by the Crosley owning young people.
